2G's 4 engine work???

wassup guys! got a quick question. i have an 86 lx carbed. and its got over 270k on it. engine is just done. also i have about 2 g's in the bank to add to just the engine alone.

what i need to know is. .
If you had the cash would you buy a rebuilt engine for it? (about $500)
would you swap it with something else? if so what would you put in it?
Its either replace/rebuild or get another car.

any suggestions would be great.

if it was me i would get either an 88-89 lxi and either sell/part out the 86. you could even switch out parts from the 86 to your new one if you ever need to.

get an 89 se-i coupe if your gonna get a new 3g. Nice interior :)

Hmm, Id get the rebuilt motor and swap it in myself...

if you decide to go efi it's cheaper to buy and efi car but then you'll have a whole new car with all new problems.

There was the possibility of a B16 swap not too long ago but now the mounts are not sold and you'll still need to upgrade your fuel system to handle EFI.
