Hello, I have a 1986 accord LX, I'm in the process of replacing the carb, got the new one in, and am hooking/replacing the hoses, I have marked most of the areas, and can tell the rest mainly by the way the hoses are shaped,
it would really help if there was some sort of a diagram as to what hose goes where generally, if it is even possible.

Thanks!, but more specifically I need a simple diagram and/or pictures of the rear and right side of the carb, theres only like 4 hoses i cant quite remember how they go. BTW, if I didnt hook it up right, what would the symptoms be?

see the almost copper connection here, well theres an identical one next to it, my car has two unlike the usual one, and thats a loose hose laying next to it, it connects to one of those i think.

Can I ask what you paid for that carburetor? That is nice and sweet looking carburetor you got there. I'll try to see if I can take some pics of my carb. to help you out this weekend if no one else helps you out. I can see the diagram pretty good & see what you need to do.

The cheapest i could get was $300 after core trade-in, pepboys said they had it for 140, but it was discontinued and they couldnt ship anymore in :sad2: .

I was able to get it all installed yesterday, guessing where the last remaining couple hoses went, and it seems to work quite well, I've put about 25 miles on it so far, the only thing is when you first start it up, and you accelerate from a stop, it hesitates, but it goes away once the car gets warmed up.

I'm rather proud of myself hehe, I'm just a highschool/college kid and have never worked on a car before, saved big bucks too.

What I can see in each of the pics that need connecting

RIGHT / REAR OF CARB PIC # 1
- #14 Power valve
- Fuel Line
- Unnamed Vacuum line and Vacuum port, maybe # 30, 32, or extra 17 ( look on the white plastic tags that ae clipped onto the metal vacuum lines and rear off the numbers engraved in the white tags... that will help... or turn the tags around so that the numbers are visable when you take a picture.

RIGTt / REAR OF CARB PIC # 2
- #14 Power Valve
- Unnamed vacuum line and vacuum port
- A/C Idle Boost Diaphragm

RIGHT / REAR OF CARB PIC # 3
- #14 Power valve
- Letter "B" Air Jet Controller ( Vacuum port for some strange reason labled as "4" in black ink )
- A/C Idle Boost Diaphragm
- #17 to underside of air cleaner box ( Vacuum port at the very top of the pic )

FRONT OF CARB PIC # 4

??????????????

LEFT / REAR OF CARB PIC # 5
- #14 Power valve
- Letter "B" Air Jet Controller ( Vacuum port for some strange reason labled as "4" in black ink )
- #17 to underside of air cleaner box
