Double check to make sure the oil jet was installed properly...

Why did you choose to go with Gude?

Nice to see another turbo coming along. One word of advice is if your head is not on already make sure the o-ring is uniform and slighly raised above the deck. A shop messed mine up which in part lead to them machining a whole new block but w/o the o-ring.

And one other thing i would recommend breaking in the motor without the turbo since complications can arrise and you want everything to seat right. I was going to break mine in with the turbo but im happy i didnt and know that everything is seated now before i boost it.

Good luck!

sorry for typing in caps.
I ordered the oil jet and I'll make sure that it is in the right way..dont want to mess this engine up$$$$$$
I plan on going with a t3-t4 turbo setup w/fmic!
those Items cost me alot of money the pressure plate was 225
and the flywheel was 350,the pistons about 750 w/ rings and wrist pins, connecting rods 350, engine block work was 950 ouch!!

the head I ported out and it took along time.
the cam from gude I have had in my stock NA motor but I might use a different one?

the connecting rods I purchased from kmod and they are for a b18 engine, they share the same length rod, 5.394".
pistons were custom ordered through JE Pistons and the flywheel came directly from clutch net www.clutchnet.com and also the pressure plate.
The custom head gasket was ordered from the machine shop that did the block work and it was from a local company in town. I will get the info to the gasket later when I figure out who made it. ARP mains were ordered through the machine shop and I will also get the info on those. I actually dont have ARP head studs but I'd like to have them.

ARP was one of the best companies i dealt with when building my b20a turbo. A woman by the name of debbie helped me out and i sent her a sample of my studs and she matched all of them up. I would be very surprised if they couldnt find something for you guys. My studs of from a VR6 VW and a B18A so if they actually match them you should be good to go. And do yourself a favor and try to get these they may save your head gasket.

They will probably need an old one to match so get a contact to ship it to. Hopefully the person you get is not lazy and dont give you any crap.

nice
what you got planned for the manifold and exhaust?

accordmanracing

I was going to try and make the manifold but the shop that I have been working with can make one also. not to sure though yet on what I will do. As for the exhaust, if I go turbocharged will be 2 1/2" up to 3". current exhaust is 2 1/4" cat back. There is a slight chance of super charging! SLIGHT CHANCE!!!! I like the power gains of the turbocharger.

a super will be a pain in the ass, and the trubo will offer better results and ease to install.

I don't know, but at least a supercharger would be something different. Now everyone's trying to do turbo setups. I remember when the only turbo accords were Justin, me, and Sean. I think it would be interesting to build a system around a centrifugal supercharger, like the vortech one for the 99-00 Si, with a liquid intercooler. I think the hardest thing to do would be the brackets/pulley setup. But, you wouldn't have to deal with the bullshit of making a turbo header/manifold, and its associated heat production. I also think it would be easier to tune a supercharged setup. I noticed you don't seem to shy away from spending money, which is good. What is your eventual hp goal?
