I made some fog ligth covers of fiberglass for my coupe and my g/f 4-door.
Those are some pics on the progrees and the final product, sorry about the paint on both cars. the bumper on my coupe is realy bad, its all busted out but you could get the idea on how the cover looks.

Covers on both cars are same, made by homemade moldings. Focus on the covers, forget about the crappy paint and bumpers

if I swap the 88-89 bumper on (which is sitting in my trunk/backseat) i would want a set too, just let me know if you wanna make more, or if not, then PM me with the plans and possibly pics of the process if you could, but I will let you get paid for those before I steal the plans... that does give me an idea for the 87 bumper ones tho... hmmm.
edit, with those and a lip, it would look like a body kit up front... I'm definatly gunna swap bumpers and buy some of those off of you if you are selling.

Hey Spork i didnt have plans for those covers. i just make the moldings i dont know how; but i liked when they were finished (after 5 moldings on try and error)

If you or other guys on the forum are realy interested and I MEAN REALY INTERESTED i could make more sets, fully done and primered ready to paint.

How sounds $25 bucks for a set shipped whitin U.S. you gotta wait about 2 weeks until i go to U.S. to get them shipped. Shipping from Mexico will be killer.

PM me if interested.

you wouldnt be able to see them on the 87 bumper, you would need something that comes out from the hole instead. just my opinion...

If anyone wants to do this, I have a BRAND NEW 88-89 bumper and mounting hardware (no fog covers, and no corner lights...) that I bought for the hatch.... I dont need it, and it would just mean that I have to do paint if I want it on my car. I would be willing to sell it all for 200 shipped, that is what i paid for the parts and shipping.
If noone speaks now, I will be buying a set of these and we will see if i sell after I have these sweet fogcovers...

one word of advise: dont make a bunch of them in hopes you'll sell them. I'd suggest you only make as many as you have the money for, or make a couple sets, and if people come through make a couple more. A lot of people say they want it and have money for it, but when push comes to shove, nobody has the money and you've wasted your time.

By all means make them, just dont make too many in case most people back out (which usually happens around here).

definitely makes sense..and also put a price range on how much it would cost to buy. You really need to make on order here not have many available.

one thought luis, you should see if you could make them so you could put fog lights in the holes. kind of like the "jdm" fogs for the civics and stuff. It would be nice to have a clean looking fog light housing for that spot for aftermarket fogs.

Those are for the public domain, you could take the idea and make it better. Yours are pretty cool man, i almost use the same process over and over until i made a set that like to me.

Ya, It ain't easy easy it! :) Takes a few trys to get the mold right. I like your intake style. There is an older BMW on my block with the same style intake under the bumper and I was thinking about the same type of inlet holes when I make a lower lip spoiler for my 3Gee...

Glad to see you selling yours.....

so since you have seem to have nothing but rave revues i guess the questionability to quality is out. Ive purchased a few sets of the stock foglight covers only to have them lost. How do yours mount in a way to better this problem. If your still making them you may have a few more sets to fab. mike
