I was able to find a bran new pair of pioneer one way 6x9s for $40 at this liquidation store.... they sound sooooo nice. Seriously, as car audio goes, its is one of thise thing where you get what you pay for. So if you go cheap, either expect them to sound crappy or not last long....my 2 cents
good luck

:stupid:

if you just need something to get you by for a little bit...maybe go with the pioneers. typically the speakers that boast 750+watts for 6x9s are just trying to grab attention.

stick with something a little more mainstream for a little bit more. they'll last longer, sound better, and just be more gooder. =)

do those pioneers (or the 5-way ones) need any special connecting harnesses?

i got these and they are not a direct fit. took me two hours to use a roto drill and grind down the mounts.

Why not just grab another pair of Alpines, they sound pretty hot and the chances of them fitting the stock holes is higher
