Yeah, I came across that before a couple times on ebay. Don't think it's fully authentic though.

it's legit. customcarbons......couple of peeps here have gotten hoods from them. the killer is the shipping!! very nice hoods though from what i hear. jays89lxi got his from them, i've seen it, very high quality grade a.

IMO... Thats not a bad deal lconsidering when they first made them for our cars they were like 400 bux... So the shipping equals it out a little...

So yall think the quality is Ok or what?...

it's "skeleton" is made of fiberglass, top is carbon fiber. i've been watching like 3 different sellers and their shit seems legit. i'm thinking about buying one here pretty soon. i was even thinking of getting the B grade one, has some flaws. then i can just fix it myself, that is if its just the top coat's finish. to tell you the truth, even the CF hoods i checked out on a few cars at the last car show i went to had the fiberglass skeleton, just painted black. looks alright. i'd be nice if they said what the average weight of their hoods are. i think someone said a hood they got was about 12 lbs or so.

who knows, it may even be less weight. things to do is look though to find a best price. read all info on the thing your buying. i always look for the bid price and then check what their shipping charge is. that is mainly where they get you, in shipping. if they offer insurance, definately get it. i'm trying to decide what to do right now. suspension, the hood, wheels. i dunno, i'd like a hood right now. i'd probley wait till the summer to start on the suspension.
