converting from heater controls

I have 87 acoord with the old school buttons. I got some peices from a newer heatert control setup lxi, I was wondering how to hook it up? I think someone has done this conversion?:stick:

if i'm not mistaken, you have to change out some of the parts on the heater core, and you have to have the extra wiring there for it to work... it's easier to do if you switch the cabin harness so you don't have to fool with the wiring
