It looks to me like they want too much for that car just because it has low miles. Since it is carbed, stinks like smoke, has multiple door dings, and nothing replaced, the car really isn't worth more than $1500, look around locally and you should be able to find a fuel injected one for about the same price and they are much easier to do engine upgrades on, especially if you need to pass an emissions test.

Carbureted carb can be converted to EFI... EFI is what most of the intakes on the market were made for and thats what you want, EFI.... you don't need a manifold if you buy the 86-89 EFI accord...

You can get an intake on a carbed car, you can put intakes on any car if you wanted... but you'de need some kind of adapter.

Doing the EFI swap is a pain especially if you don't know what you're doing so just buy an EFI car and put on an intake... all intakes can be modified to fit our car.. but there are a few that don't need any or little modification to fit.

Looks OK milage is low for the year. I dont like dealerships I would only buy from a private person. Also I would only buy a car from a southern or western area myself since rust is always an issue with cars. They had same type car at the Honda dealer here about the same milage for $3500 last month.

I agree you want an LX-i or better car. EFI,bigger brakes, sway bars 3 good reasons.

If you want a car that is the most fun to drive, I would suggest getting a manual transmission model. Sure, you can do the conversion, but buying one with one already installed would be much better. Considering that dealer said it has little rust, I bet it has ALOT of rust, b/c they always try to put a good spin on everything.
