Whats up with this??

I just got a Honda Accord SEi model off of some guy I know,and for some reason the Accord won't start. It cranks but it doesn't start, today (right after I got it) i tried turning it on once more and it backfired and this is really pissing me off. Does anyone here have any suggestions on what it might be?

did you check the coil? are the plugs getting spark? maybe a coil wire?? also, check the main relay.

Did it run before you bought it? If not possibly there is something messed up with the timing real bad, and yes it is probably something with the ignition system. Check your battery terminals to make sure your car is getting enough juice, and make sure the plug wires are on the correct terminals on the cap and the correct spark plugs.
