Making your own CF pieces would be awesome! The raw carbon fiber materials are still expensive though right?

Yeah there's no way around that price unless you know some people or are one of those people in the business that can get it cheaper.

Yeah. I found a site a couple weeks ago. I'll try to find it again. It seemed like it was expensive but, then again I've never used it so I don't know how long a sheet lasts. I'll post back when I find the site.

i am gonna need enough to do one hood and one hatch. the one for that hatch has to be one complete sheet big enough so ill have alot of extra once i cut out the window section that i can use to make dooor sill ect.

its not a real carbon fiber method. Carbon fiber is usually made to cure in a pressurized and heated oven called an AutoClave that pressurizes and heats up to cure the CF at the same time. So that shit is more like doing ur fiberglass. Looks like the dude at hondatech is just an amature with no knowledge about carbon fiber. :uh: talk about misleading.
