2.0i-16 ...finally I got one

I just picked it up from Germany friday last week. It's an '87 and has only driven 30.000miles/49.000km. Bought it from a guy who inherited it from his grandfather who always had it in a garage. The car is like new and it's really a pleasant experience to drive an Accord that's almost as new and completely stock. The pictures suck so I need to wash it and get some better pictures at better angles.

Excellent! I love the km/h only counter. Looks neat. I remember that the front seat from 2.0-16 have deeper side support. Do you feel any difference? E/G room looks like show room condition. Amazing.....

I saw a pair of those EDM/JDM rear foglights on ebay last night, the guy wanted $99 for em' I couldn't figure out where they were supposed to go, now I see the LIGHT!!!! LOL Hahahahaha, alright I'm an idiot.

Dannish huh? They only encounter I've had with the Dannes was my old summer housemate in DC (she was so hot and Dannish too) had her friends come to stay with her. They were all about 9 feet tall blond and scary. When I came home one night from the museum they were all on the porch drinking, carrying on in Dannish and roasting a pig...I felt like I was in an Ingmar Bergman film, or was he Swedish??? Nevermind, they were very nice people but tall very tall.

epic1400cs, yes the seats have much deeper side supports in the back and on the cushion than the regular sedans plus the lower part of the seat sticks further out like the Aerodeck seats. And I can really feel the difference between the sedan ones and these. You're sitting much more firm, so when cornering you dont move around.

Also notice that on the 2.0i-16 the redline starts at 6500rpm instead of 6250rpm like normal, and the odometer counts to 230km/h(143mph) where the regular one only counts to 220km/h(136mph). Gotta love the details hehe.

phrenology, yes I have an Aerodeck too. Also full black interior, but the seats are leather. But tall blondes aren't scary man, where I'm from, the tall blondes are the best you can get haha :) Nice to see you met some of them.

P.S, make sure you get that body rust protected before the salt starts attacking it!! And get rid of them stupid rubber lip covers round the rear arches do more harm than good!! just coat them in lots of thick black hammerite and spray loads of waxoil in every space you can find!! The only downside to the Euro 3G's is they have square fixed headlights i prefer the pop ups!!

You're reading my mind about the rust prevention hehe. Well the engine in my daily driver blew up (main bearings got toasted) so I had to finish up my injection conversion on my other daily driver real quick, but after driving it a couple of days I realized that there's just to much wrong with it, but a couple of days before the daily driver blew up I'd seen this 2.0i-16 with low miles on the german page, autoscout24.de, where I regularly check for special 3rd gens, so I decided to jump on that and luckily it wasnt sold.
About the square headlights.. thats why I bought my Aerodeck. That way I'll have both types :D



YK86, I paid $2600 in US dollar but on top of that i have to pay tax of it so that I can get it registered in Denmark ( :rolleyes: ). And the tax is somewhere between $1800 and $2600 in US dollar.

Yes that tax does suck, but considering the fact that I wont find one for sale in Denmark, espacially in this condition, I can live with it.

When I've paid the tax, I'll try converting it to electronic ignition with a prelude 88-91 dist. and a jdm b20a ecu and if that doesnt bring it close to the 160hp I might just drop in a true JDM B20A instead. I refuse to get cheated for those last 20hp :squint:

RHD cars are only in countries where the drive on the opposite side of the road. Most countries are the same as us but some are different such as England and Japan.
