View Full Version : anyone else have the tokico/neuspeed setup?

i just ordered the tokicos and i have neuspeed springs waiting to be put on. 1.5" drop, is this setup ok? i read that if you go with stiffer springs you need to replace your stock struts so thats what i did and koni's are no where to be found so i went with the tokicos.

it should be alright untill the tokico struts will blew, but they may be alright.
I know the ride may be a little bouncy.

i have tociko but i never got a chance to ride on them, i wonder if they will blos from just sitting

I had H&Rs and tokicos. Felt a LOT better than stock but the front still had a bit of bounce to it. It will be fine though, and much better than stock struts. If you can ever find konis for the front, you'll be happier with that, though.

^ I second that. I have h&r's and tokicos, and its a fine ride for the most part... ;)

^ I third that... H&R and tokico here... basically the same thing... It rode pretty well, handled well too, but front wouolld have been nice if it was a bit stiffer.

i have Tokico Springs on Tokico Blues...even that the front feels somewhat bouncy.

When i get a chance, the Konis that have been sitting for 5months will be on to see if the difference is felt. :)

the H&R / Tokico drops seems pretty popular based on the availability of lowering struts. I was lucky enough to get some Koni Reds for the front, but I never found any for the rear, so I will use Tokicos back there. Should be tolerable from what I hear.

Just called that place. They're all sold out. Good try though, I was almost optimistic.

NewSpeed and H&R lowering springs are of the same stiffness given their 1.5" lowering charecteristic. So you will feel what the tokiko w/H&R guys feel. As said that these springs are the softest of the bunch, i think its just too soft for the shox??? BUt you also could have gotten KYBs.......... If they made AGXs for our cars.

IMO i think the rear tokicos are just fine, and actually handle the springs quite well... I just wish my fronts were stiffer, I'm almost considering getting revalved bilsteins just for the front and new tokicos for the rear.
