Well Boyz I finally had to let my babe go

I initially had a 88 DX Sedan 5 speed JHM (Real Honda) - accident took her away

then 89 LXi Coupd - 5 speed - 1HG (Bulshyt Honda)

Now Im onto a 2000 SE - 5 Speed no doubt - 1HG (sad to say!)

I still have a burgandy arm rest - rare feature to find ...

It's some of the letters from your VIN. It indicates the country that your car was built in.

and also indicates the quality of the car when it was new... they may look the same, but after comparinge JHM cars to 1HG cars, it's hard for me to buy an american built honda... too bad that's all i have... i own 4 of these, and they are all american built... i tend to think we get more american built ones thatn japanese built ones...

matter of fact, the ONLY JHM i've seen on the road was purchased special order but a guy that collects high-dollar european cars and needed something cheap and reliable for daily driving...

and can you believe our 3geez cost as much as accords do now? this hatch i'm talking about in particular had a sticker price of almost $24,000...

Here we get more JHM the SE-i we had was 1HG and I fixed so many things on that thing it was problem matic.
