I have to check but it occurred to me i might be running BPR5EY-11 NGK-V power plugs... at 10psi im thinking about going to a colder plug (think BPR6EY or BPR7ES, the 7es is a standard plug but its MUCH colder than a 5EY) Your thoughts? Im trying to be on the safe side as much as i can to prevent any detonation...

I have NGK's Irodiums as i just switched from the regulars so they last longer. I went up to 7's to be on the safe side. I would definately run more than a 5 since its something easy to obtain.

DSMs run stock 14 lbs and they got 7s. If u want u can run them or even 8s. LIke Rob said and as u know, Iridium is the best of choice among boost nuts. So if you have 30 bux to shill out on just 4plugs, then get them.

ps: our owners manual recomends BPR 6s and BPR7s (for hot climate) for stock cars, so ur way below normal dude.

word... i know. I was thinking because 10psi doesnt seem to pull too much harder than 8 and it probably should, but im probably starting to ping and im running the stock ignition gap too...

My 1g DSM came stock with NGK BPR6Es to run up to 11 psi stock. 11 psi is the stock Wastegate actuater spring rate on the 14b turbo. When I upgrated my fuel system and went to a larger turbo (now running 21 psi) I went with NGK BPR7Es plugs gapped at .28 Everything works great so far.
