I saw an integra 88 looks just like my 88 hatch, tried to look some stuff up all i could find was it has a 1.6 in it, 118 hp. is it b16 or what . and if so wouldn't this swap right over into ours. ????? i am not a honda person ...yet mostly v8 and stuff so trying to learn b/c i got an 88 accord that is in real good shap and i am trying to have fun with it.

its a D16 and would be totally pointless to swap into the 3g. it has less HP then the A20 does stock and a lot less torque. Not to mention it'll be harder to swap in that a b16.

use the search. there is a lot of info about engine swaps.

for all you new to cars: just cuz a car looks like another car, doesn't mean the motor will fit/work/be better. anything is possible but that d16 is pointless. i've heard pple talk about puttin toyota's 4age motors into the accord hatch. i laugh!!! that's prolly harder than craming in a 302.

I wasn't. and on the stuffing, helped stuff a 454 in a 1980 chevette, talk about having to make some room.
