I searched... and found nothing. I'm SURE this has been covered before, and I'm sorry to bring it up again.

The only thing that has been bugging me about the A20A is that it is SOHC. After having an H22 in my 92 Accord, I just can't get into a single cam motor anymore! I want to retain the A20A's iron block for my turbo project, but I would love the tunability of a DOHC head.

SO, has anyone successfully put a B20A (or any other DOHC head, VTEC or not) on the A20A block? If so, can it be done reliably? How much modification will it take? I know putting DOHC heads on F series engines requires some modification, but not too much. I'm hoping the same can go for the A series!

It's been done with horrible results. Reliability is terrible.

Really? Damn... Thanks! That's all I needed to know! lol

Back to the SOHC I guess... At least those parts are dirt cheap at a junkyard (I can snag an A20A head for $30. The yard I go to currently has about 10 of em, one with 80k miles on it!)
