do you have a hatch or a sedan/coupe?

i know for sure in the sedan and coupe there's two little covers that pop off with a screw driver, they cover the 2 screws that hold it on. there's one on each side, left and right. hope that'll help. careful with the screw covers. mine broke apart from sun deterioration, so i dont have them anymore. but it still looks ok.

yea on sedans and coupes theres just two screws, and it lifts right out.

Plus it it will throw off your dash lights and there will be a light showing a blown bulb.

yea i dont advise removing any safety lights.....i just took off mine to put in my 3geez cutout, which later i had to take it out again cuz i realized no1 has any clue what 3geez is, and i looked like a cracker who spent way too much on my car (3geez = $3000)

Some places it's the law that you need to have a brake light there. I know on my dads old volvo he needed to buy a kit to have one installed.

Yeah, cause old people can't tell the difference between tailights and brakelights. :D
