I have a 1988 honda accord lx A20A1 5 speed and it has 192,000 miles on it. It has a cold air intake, a custom exhaust, and mechanical secondarys on the carb. It hits 0-60 in 11 seconds the acceleration is slow ,but top speed is good. What upgrades can I put on it for a quicker accelaration. :rice:

performance high flow carb pump with pressure regulator

port the carb... remove the choke... punch out the efe screen... remove the vacuum lines...

Well since my previous post was removed, most likely due to relevance...even though irrelevance still lingers, I will re-post this. Get some good cams, upgrade fuel, ignition, reduce weight, remove everythin in the car that does not promote speed, porting as previously stated, think about an EFI swap...

Or, get another car.

think about a swap to a new tranny.. the FI cars are geared a little different than the carbs... even better would be a custom integra tranny swap like Yasu did.
Much quicker gearing.... that would make a huge diff for your acceleration.
