88 LXi needs head, will 87 LX fit?

As the topic says, I have an 88 Accord LXi that needs a head, can I put one off a carbed LX or do I ha ve to have an LXi head?

I think I remember Justin saying somewhere that some LX heads had the notches for fuel injectors and some didn't. You would have to make sure that the head DID have these notches. You would also have to switch the camshafts as I believe those are different too. Oh and the LX head will only have 2 bolt studs for the distributor instead of 3, and I'm not sure if those 2 would line up or not with the LX-i distributor's 3 bolt holes.

Someone please confirm this info for me as I'm not completely positive I'm correct

first of all, LX head has less compession, which means you will loose some ponies.
second Jereds may be right, i think you will have a hard time with distributor.

Ok, what about an 86-87 LXi head? And just swap my cam for that cam? Would that work?
