Yeah they rust pretty bad. The northern climate does not spare the 3g's sheet metal

0 rust on my 3g....except the exhaust for some reason....lol, but heres my favorite pic!

You are quite brave tackling all of that rust. My malibu had holes in the floor about 2 feet around and holes in the 1/4 panels a foot high, but then again it was 30 years old with only 100k mi. on it. I am planning to fix all the rust on mine this summer and drive it in primer for a year (sealer primer of course) until next summer but I am afraid it will be rotted to hell and i'll give up. But then again, as long as there isn't any rust where the frame parts bolt on, I'll probably just do it. Good luck!

yeah shes a rust bucket.....its gonna be a fun project..the worst parts of rust are the kick panels....thats gonna be hard to do but i'm sure it'll get done...we should have RUst bucket of the Month i think it would give a positive outlook on the Rusted 3gs and were they stand lol....
