bah so many gears hahah... anyways, should be a fun project... can't say i would ever attempt something like that, so props to you, keep us updated.

That's a good thing you have the shop manual to reassemble all that pile of gears!

yeah that was the fifth gear that went out on me when I was driving back to my moms house. went out 24 miles into the 166 mile drive.

i had my tranny redone a few years back, the first day i got it back 5th grear was gone. i wasent even driving hard, i was soo pissed cus i thoug they gave me a 4 spd tranny, i never wen into 5th gear. anyways i only put about 400 miles on the rebuilt tranny, i sold the tranny to josias and he said the new 5th gear was pretty beat, i guess our trannys have a 5th gear problem

wasn't there an old thread before saying that you could use 2nd gen integra (90-93) tranny internal assembly and move it into the 3gee tranny bellhousing for a more aggressive gear ratio? correct me if i'm wrong.

yes there is. but i did not want that gear ration since most of my driving is still freeway. and now the project is done and i have more pictures but between rear ending some guy ina truck and having my car broken into and everything being stolen I havent had much motivation to get the pictures loaded. but i will sometime soon. i have the week off from school. so plenty of catch up time.
