Hi i just bought an 88 accord limited (carb) and in between the two seats and a little behing the shifter there is a little switch looks like a triangle? on there each time i hit it i can hear a motor spinning and some clicking but nothing is happening, i was wondering what the switch does? any info would be appreciated thanks.

That switch is for the antena.

It's "supposed" to be powered but usually it's stuck there good.

Try to move it manually while someone presses the switch.

dont listen to carotman. he is lying. that triangle switch is a remote arming device for your hiddin heat seeking missile. but just pushing the switch up and down wont do any good. u gotta have it push up until it locks and u gotta pull the lever (black) beneath your steeringwheel to engage it. :flash:

this is sort of on the same topic. what switch can go to the right of the cruise control switch? i've just got a beige plastic cover over a spot in the dash that looks the same size as the cruise control switch. would it be there if i had factory foglights?

Yea they put the fog light switch there. You can get another cruise control switch and it will fit right in there. Then you can make it switch on whatever you want.

While we're on the topic of swiches, we just picked up an 88 Accord LXi 4 door, and in between the vents theirs the slider that you can move up and down, one arrow is BLUE other is WHITE, what does this thing do?

MNLXi4D, tht thing directs cold or hot air thru the center vents
if u got your heater on but want cold air to pass thru the center vents so that ur face won't be cooked...then use tht
