isnt it illegal to have your taillights all clear ?? it is around here but the plain clear tails are kinda ricey lol.what kind of body kit is that ? looks "good" man keep it up

Usually you need reflectors and a colored bulb to be legal if the lense is not colored.

Yeah .... i kinda realized that when i was looking a another thread i did on another site. sorry about that with all the pics. As for the lights i've never been stopped ..in fact a cop was behind me when i was going to the atm about 10 mins ago. Doin't worry i'm gonna change the tail back so there legal. My bulbs are colored red and i still have the lens that makes the light refract so you don't see staight bulb.

I wanted to take these pics also cuz this will be the last time the engine bay will be like this. I'm gonna be pulling it soon. these Pistons are taking a long time to get done.

not something i would do, but i give you props for doing it so well. I think you should get rid of those outdated clears and get some JDM's. I dont usually think the JDM lights are all that special, but i think it would give your car that extra kick.

I always liked the way your rear bumper sits flat and straight with your tails. You've had those doors for some time now, so I figure you would know if they're a pain to get in and out of in the long run?

I've wanted to change my tails cuz i am tired of the clears. I've seen peole make there own with the round tails. i'vw been looking at the skyline tails which are preety sleek and think would go well with the cars body style and if i change my corner blinker lights i'll go back with the jdm ones.

love the interior, prob the best i seen in a while
try painting the taillight with some translucent candy apple red paint to see how they come out

awesome mase, looks very clean! nice to see another clean kitted 3gee in this forum. i say VHT nightshades your clear tails and corner. it would look much better in my opinion cus you have a dark colored car and it wouldn't stand out.

-maybe candy red the bottom stoplight part of the taillight and VHT nightshades the rest. or just use black candy if you find some cus i know VHT is hard to get cus you have to order it.

-or just use the candy red and make the tails red and white, white being the top turn signals just like prelude tails.

-then paint a black or dark red 0.5" border around the taillights lenses to make it look cleaner.

the lights i have for the back of my car are hard to find in the salvage yard. right now i just have the rear lights that are not hooked to the trunk. I'll have to get some stuff and do some experimenting this weekend then I'll have to get 2 more sets of lights to see what combo will work with the car. If i drop it anymore then i won't have a bodykit. I can't stand it when people put on a bodykit and get it lowered and expect it not to get messed when they hit some bad bumps and potholes.

Well Smuf as a matter of fact my dad lives in Wilmington, Delaware so how far are you from there. Once i get some time off i can make it up there also. Plus my dads into cars so i need to go an visit his sometime this summer if i can

thats why you gotta get coilovers. the civic CO's im using will SLAM my car, but i have them up a bit right now and it rides really nice. Almost as nice as it did stock. your car would look 100% better sitting on the ground.

I do have coilovers the pics i took don't serve any justice on how low it is. To put it in perspective i'm in the army so to keep people from speeding off post they have these big and wide speed bumps. For kicks i wanted to see how close i was to the bump so i found one on post and rolled over it and got out of the car to see how close i was. Just say i could barly fit my index finger through the gap.

Nice, your car is coming along really well. I don't blame you about the bodykit it looks like it is fiberglass. I've sen a lot of them cracked around town because of the streets here. I wish they made more Urethane kits for our care other than the Xenon kits. I know Urethane can be pricey but its well worth it in the long run.
