That second pic looks like sheet metal or something f-ed up. hehehehe

I wish that SE-i in the first pic was mine. That's how seis are supposed to look damit. Take care of those rare cars....

I'm liking that monterey green color. My SE-i had that blue-green pearl that IMO was the best factory color the 3gee ever came with. Just can't remember the name of the color though. But sadly, my SE-i got crushed by a big oak tree back in Aug. 13th, 2004 during Hurricane Charley. We got pounded by 5 hurricanes here in FL last year. Thank God my project 3gee was saved. I got more than what I paid for the SE-i from FEMA and insurance though. I paid $1700 for that car and I got $3000. Hell yea! I missed that car though. Let's just say I stripped that car to bare frame. After owning 2 and wrenching on both cars for a year or two, I basically know how to strip a 3gee in a couple of hours. That was by far the easiest car I've ever taken apart. Only the drivetrain was left. I kept all the SE-i goodies and sold the rest on eBay. I moved the SE-i 4 wheel disc brakes to the project car just 2 months ago. My next daily driver/project might be a 2nd-gen Toyota MR2

The car was shaded by the same oak tree that crushed it:

that yours? i'm confused nevermind it is you .:d

Yep that's mine...or was. I had 2 3gee's at the time. The custom kitted one I have and that SE-i. The one I was asking about in post #1 wasn't.

LOL didn't even notice how similar the pics were. I think IMO anyone will have better luck finding rust-free, clean 3geez in FL than any other state. It's true for most southern states, but the mid-southern ones are swampy. Plus, lotsa old people retiring/living here. Better chances of finding that clean, low mileage grandma 3gee!

You are exactly right bro. I'm from Mobile and the weather there is nice year round. The only thing you have to worry about unfortunately are hurricanes. Other than that there is nothing weather wise that will cause cars to rust. Unlike here in Colorado where they use salt a lot on the roads.

Salt was just barely starting to eat away my 3gee when I had it, you really had to look for it though. Both the green coupes in this thread are beautiful (well one was beautiful).

Thats horrible about your SEi!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, those two green ones are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

I think it looks like paper, not cardboard for the big ricey bumper.......definetly not a real substantial material that will even withstand the air of it driving. Looks like theres the real bumper underneath. I still don't think its a funny joke :)

Here's a pretty decent sedan considering it's a home-made paintjob. He first repainted it in blue then changed to silver:

I like the sedan cus it has better seatbelt configuration :) When I had my SE-i coupe, the seatbelt retractors in that were bad and the belts kept getting caught by the door when I slam it shut. The buckles ruin the interior trim panels.

i think coupes are the way to go. but the seatbealt hing is true but thats the only thing wrong with coupes

The seatbelt thing about the coupes/hatches isn't a big deal if some of us owned the car from the start.... cus some of us here keep our cars very well maintained. But when you go out and buy a coupe or hatch, more than likely you will find this problem with the weak retractors and torn up door panels.

the ragtop on the white 3g is hot, but that kit on the front just hurts...

the first green coupe is an LXI the SEI werent ever available in manterey green metallic to my knowledge and that configuration was only available in 88. Thats what mine is. Im hoping to get a real nice black/gray leather interior to help with the ahhh factor. I like the white accord with the phantom top minus the front bumper. If it blended more maybe but its too out of place. The sides and tail i like. Im not big on phantoms but thats just me.
