I need to get a decent amp that I can run around about 75w rms for my internal speakers (highs). Does anyone have any ideas for a good quality sounding amp for highs with a decient s/n ratio? I am looking to spend about $250 for it on ebay maybe? Any ideas would be awesome. It will be powering Kappa series componets all around. Thanks.

any of those will probably suit your needs... my favorites (based on listed specs) are in order: the Phoenix Gold, the Pioneer, then the Kicker... all of them will be at least adequate

I have a spare Rockford Fosgate 4080dsm that I am selling for $150 + shipping. It is rated at 40 watts x 4 rms (yeah right). I have end caps for it but they are not the right ones.

Thanks for the ideas Derick. I really like that PG amp a lot. I may save up some more and go that route. The pioneer fits my budget better but the PG is a much better product. Hell I might get it just because it's cheaper and see how it works out. After seeing all of those options I may think about it longer before I buy the amp. I know that fosgate is rated higher then 40w RMS but im looking for something a little different right now. Thanks for bringing that to my attention though. :) Im still open to more opinions if anyone cares to post more ideas that would be great. Thanks again guys.

If you want a really good product... go for the small Audison SRx amp... it would probably be perfect for your application, and they are far superior amps to any of those which have been listed so far.

that audison looks nice...

for reference: http://www.audison-america.com/Products/SRX/SRX4/srx4.html

it does seem that you can only get them new through brick-and-mortar dealers, though... that means finding one online, new or used, might prove to be a challenge...

and BTW, PG does this, also... only with thier top tier line of amps, though... quite several high end vendors and manufacturers only sell through independant dealers...
