offering free picture hosting

For any of you who don't have a place to host pictures when you post threads on this board, I've opened up some space on my server. Here are the instructions for uploading a picture:

1) Go to http://preterhuman.net/get.php?file=Hotline_Client-1.2.3_win.zip&dir=dl to download the Hotline Client software.

2) Open the Hotline Client and click Connect and type preterhuman.net for the server, "3geez" for the login and "3geez" as the password (without the quotes of course).

3) When you login, you should see a few online users (this is my chat server). Just click Files, then in the files window click the file with the up arrow on it and it'll ask what picture you want to upload.

4) The picture is now located in http://preterhuman.net/~3geez/ so when posting an image, use that URL plus the filename of the picture.

Try to keep picture sizes small. The pictures are also to be posted on this forum only (and the VAC forum too I guess). For picture deletion or renaming, PM me. Enjoy.

What is your idea of small image size? I would like a 500k limit with a average size of 350k. But what your offering does look awfully complicated. I'll give it a try, but I want clairification on image sizes.

500k limit sounds good I guess.

As for the method of doing it, it becomes easy once you get the hang of it. I didn't want to open up FTP or services like that so I just used the existing server I run.
