Which bumper???

i have noticed that some 3rd gen bumpers are smoother than others(ie.the bumper strip that follows the body side molding line is almost flush with the rest of the bumper). i have an '89 Lxi which has a pronounced bumper strip.
i want a MUCH smoother bumper. which bumper do i look at??

Bumpers on 86-87 Sedans and 86-89 HatchBacks are same whit that black plastic part on top and yellow turnsignal lights

Bumpers on 88-89 have a black plastic line along the bumper and clear turn signals whit orange platic inside.

do the 89 bumper and paint the black to match the paint. My car had that done and it looked pretty hot.
