it won't fit without custom acessories. no one has tried it, cuz the money, time and sweat won't pay off. i wouldn't buy from a retard who thinks the f22 came from an 88.

Oh, mine gets erased? That guy has over 400 posts, and doesn't know that a F22 and A20 are incompatible. C'mon. Isn't that part of the faqs? If not, make it:

Nothing from ANY other Honda motor series will fit your A20A, except a modded B16 intake manifold.

The title of the auction was a bit misleading. But it will only fit the f22 family is what it meant. There's f22 motors in more than just the 4th gen accord.

Only other F22 is 1G Odyssey. There is nothing in 88-89 with that motor.

Yeah I know I was thinking about that and there's the 4th gen accord, 4th gen SOHC prelude, and then that odyssey.

Actually with some slight modifications it will fit an f22, f23, h22, or h23. Although why you would want to put an f22 nonvtec head on an h22/h23 is beyond me.

all the accords from 90 - 2000 has a variation of the F block in them, but i think that one will only fit the non-vtec F22's that came in the 4th and 94-95 accords. If i'm not mistaken, the 96-97 5th gens had the OBD2 motors that are different.

Like I said with modification. Anything to do with timing would have to be chanegd, you would have to convert back to OBD-1 and you'd also have to use a new water pipe. Not worth it, in fact you'd have to be a moron to do it, but it's not a hard thing to do. Most people go the other way:D Sticking an H22/H23 head on an F22/F23 block. You get the advantage of having a DOHC VTEC head on a sleaved block. Ideal for running high boost on an engine that puts about 180-200hp(depending on the head) out at the crank NA. For instance, the the F23 in my Ody may be recieiving an H22 head in the future :D
