Look at the double down pipe !! its 4-2-1 orginal Honda header.
No Cat, No Lambda, no EGR, Hi Octan Fuel and this is the A20A4 - 122 HP.

my craptacular USDM engine has the same looking downpipe. I'm pretty sure they all have downpipes like that. it's the cast manifold design that sucks.
that power steering line is busted up pretty good. so is that mount. there is A LOT of oil leaked out of the head, too. i would look into that before relying on that motor.

U see , the problem is that Ive seen all of the Euro Engines
from A20A1 with Cat and lambda, carb
thru A20A2 with no cat no lambda, carb
and A20A3 with Cat and lambda nad PGMFI
and this A20A4 is the first One with Double Down pipe, and 4-2-1 header here in Europe, all the rest has a single pipe 4-1 header.
And this car, right now looks like this :-)
One more thing it was an Aerodeck

A20's don't make power. It's that simple.

number 5 in the diagram. that's what all pgmfi accord engines should have come with.

a stock A20 efi motor makes power in the 3500 to 5500 rpm range. With a header, intake and full exhaust, it makes power from 3000 to 6000 rpm range. SImple as that. This is how my power band is, with the ignition timing under full advance and 40psi of fuel pressure and WOT.
PS: Why on god's name is this in research and development? You could have just asked it in the technical section or used the search to come up with the earlier threads where we talked about it......... cause we did and i mentioned pretty much the same thing. :uh:
Also, try to use thumbnails in the picture or stick with 800 X 800 max image resolution next time okay?
Steve: You had a carb, u never a efi and they good power more than you can possibly understand since u never hand one. Once a A20 beats your ass, then u will understand................... or maybe u still will refuse. :)

He is in Europe, remember? Things are different for their cars.

#5 in the diagram is the flex pipe im looking at. If you are talking about the 2-1 downpipe you are talking about then it is true. But the A20A3 motor was different even tho it was efi with 4-1 header like he mintioned.

Haha. I love it. It's sad when you can only make power with forced induction. :D

and you are sooo going offtopic. You sound like Mike aka Matt, who always wanted to strip up a debate about B and A superiority. with the same amount of money invested, we still own you fellas. lol,

So maybe I'll just stick a turbo on my B16 and then I can make up to 300 whp on 10 psi. :Owned:
Haha. I just love getting you guys fired up.

Probably more than a turbo A20 but I have more room for growth, more than one option to make power and more available parts.

yeah in some ways thats true... they both have their advantages and disadvantages, we both just want to go fast. I just think that 300whp on an a series would be cheaper than b series in these cars because of the swap cost, just throw in forged pistons and go for big boost...
