Ok, I got a short ram from a friend, but the aluminum pipes are really deep scratched and it doesn't look too good. Me, who doesn't want to do a half-ass job am wondering what are the best ways to remove them. I was thinking about sanding it, but all the shine will go away, repaint it, or buy that scratch remover thingin' to fill the scratches and cuts. What do you guys think?
I really appreciate the help, thanks.

if the scratches doesn't leave open wholes in the sr, you should be fine. but if you want to fill up those deep scratches i suggest you sand it down smooth, then bondo, then light wet sand, then paint the darn thing if youre too meticulous.

Lol... thanks for the reply. Trust me, i did use the search option but couldn't find much. Well, the short ram is in, and it doesn't look too bad since all the scratches are under the pipe. Thanks again though.
