*Yes was posted on another honda forum*

The car was working fine. I took the car to a friends house and parked for a few house while we went out. Came back and drove it home. It was about a 30 min trip. This problem started about 10mins from my house. The car started to stall between 2000-3000 RPMS. If I feather it and keep it at 2000 it will die. It also dies when idle at a stop. It also does this in neutral.

This is everything I have replaced.
Radiator & Thermo
VCG
Both fuel filters
New Disty, Cap, Rotor, Plugs, & Wires
New Coil
New Alternator
New Battery
New Grounds

I added a fuel gauge inline and the fuel pressure is solid, I thought maybe fuel pump. Now I’m thinking it might be a timing issue or the carb going out. I’m running out of money and I need to drive. So any dead on ideas would be great.

Adjusting the timing didnt solve the issue.

I found a rebuild kit and the two other gaskets online for about 80 bucks. Is that a good price?

VCG? Not familiar with that abbriviation

Sounds like a vacuum leak.
check the pcv valve and the hoses connected to it first... the pcv is like 3 bucks.

other then that, you said it happened 10mins so that could mean a thermovalve isn't getting coolant or the valve is busted. If it's a coolant problem the water pump isn't working or the coolant system needs bleeding.

I doubt 10mins would cause overheating but it depends on the conditions, overheating can cause stalling

Did you bleed the coolant?
Does the large fan turn on?
It could be a sensor or the water pump isn't working.

Thats a booster venturi... it needs to be screwed in

In the upper right corner you can see the booster venturi and the tiny screw that pushes into the groove to hold the booster in place...
