Many years ago we had the engine replaced with an imported engine. Since then the car hasnt never ran well and has always had problems.

Ive noticed there are a MANY vacume lines that the guy just plugged up. There are a few tubes as large as a quarter that have bolts stuck in them. Is this common for an engine swap for this car. Its still the "same" engine for the 3gen.

sounds like a ghetto-fabulous swap to me. what engine is in there? what kind of car is it? any pics?

i would download the shop manual and start fixing all that stuff, personally. nothing bothers me more than shit-rigged engine work.

There are a few more under the air box. Its not like there is any place to attach these.

You are lucky in the fact that you still have the original Honda vacuum lines because they have the line numbers printed on them. Visit http://www.pauldesign.ru/ and download the electronic shop manual. Open it and find the carburetor vacuum routing diagrams. The lines should be numbered like yours. If you run into some unlabeled lines, trace them back to their origin because most vacuum trees and vacuum ports on these cars are also labeled with plastic rings. By knowing the # of the line, you can find where it routes to. Mike (A20A1) will probably be of great help in the case of vacuum line routing. Hope this helps you.
