Hey guys -

We posted a trhead way back when in this forum to organize a group buy for a set of x-2 fenders. Our manufacturer has decided to go ahead and produce them without a minimum committment of orders. What we are looking for right now is a donor set of OEM fenders. The first volunteer to send their OEM fenders in, will receive a free set of fiberglass x-2 fenders once they have completed production (approximately 8 weeks). Again, you do not need to be local to us to participate. If you are interested, please contact us. Thank you!

how perfect do they need to be?

The paint/surface can be scratched/dinged up, but the overall fender shape must be intact. Meaning no dents/bulges/etc. It can have no paint and tons of scratches, but we can't make a mold off a dented fender. Thanks

With all the talk about cloning, the post heading looks like something out of Robin Cook's "Coma".

Peace.

Local volunteers will be much easier for the both of us, as there will be no shipping fees involved. Please e-mail us your information at [email protected] so we can proceed, thanks!

So do you guys have a volunteer yet? Will the person get the fenders back, or do we forfit them for the x2's.
Will you ship the x2's back to someone if we ship fenders to you?

I guess that they are not really very interested in making these then? You would think that shipping would be a givin' for a company like that.
Oh well.
