I keep getting an IAT code and even after I repalce the sensor I still get the code and it is completely fucking up my A/F ratio. I haven't had a chance to swap in a different ECU but I'm running out of options with this car.

measure the IAT sensor directly at the sensor then measure it directly at the ECU... this will tell you if you have a short wire somewhere

I'll bet its a short, thats the first thing you rule out before changing the sensor.

Good luck

well that sounded to easy, I didn't find any problems with the wiring. Grabed the know good ECU out of my bro's accord then it started to give me a TPS, ECT then the IAT code. Swap the civic ECU back in and it was giving me the TPS and ECT also. This OBD-1 crap has been giving me more and more problems then the OBD-0.

Did you measure the IAT's impedance?

im still getting the IAT code too...how do i test the wires for shortage? i bought a new one from auto zone a while back but it came with some thick plastic covering the sensor and it didnt come off....then i messed it all up trying to cut it off. $60 down the drain!

I'm wondering if your ECU is bad now. Being that you put it back in and throwing different codes now. That is something I would have to look at & do my test to be positive on it.
*edit. There is some more equipment to do more of a in-dept analysis on the problem here.

No i never checked the resistance since they were giving me the correct voltage. I'll go ahead and try but they are all brand new as in got them a week ago.

lol yea autozone has there part #'s mesed up for that sensor, they gave me the same one that is for the 90+ honda's and it's too big.
Well I have new IAT, ECT, and TPS sensors, checked the wiring for the correct voltage, tried 2 ECU's and go the same results. As far as I can tell the OBD-1 system basicaly uses the same sensors.

at the end of the stock harness and I checked the adapter harness and all the wires go to the correct pins.
