B20A Manual Transmission Part numbers (B2K5 and F2K5)

Hi 3geezers

Finding parts for the JDM B20A is somewhat easy since the engine shares most of it's components with the USDM B20A5. However, the B20A manual transmission is unique and doesn't have any match on other Honda products.

I made a list of ALL the transmission parts with their corresponding part numbers. I labeled the parts that had a direct match with a USDM part number. This means you can go directly to the Honda dealer (or Acura in some cases) and order the parts. This also includes the part number of non available parts so you can order them overseas in you want.

I'm happy to say that every bearing (except 1) are available in North America. I have that particular bearing here and will try to find a match for it in the near future.

Unfortunately, some parts do not have a matching USDM number. However, this doesn't mean another USDM part will not fit. The gears and syncros could be matched with other trannies I'm pretty sure. After all, the D and B series engines share some tranny components even if they do not have the same part numbers.

I know the diagrams are really big but it's the best way to have the most details you can. If you find them too big, just resize them. These diagrams are not available anywhere else on the internet to my knowlegde so, again, 3geez.com is the pioneer :D. These are the actual B20A Tranny diagrams from Honda.

If you need more diagrams like this on the B20A, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

my question is, dos A20 clutch kit fit the b20?

the pressure plate MIGHT if its the recessed flywheel type, but the clutch disk wont as the input shaft has more splines on the B20A

Nope it won't fit. I tried it already. The B20A clutch kit it bigger than the A20. The flywheel is as well

Why I ask is because I've just recently bout a resurfaced fly wheel and clutch kit for my A20. But It got me thinking of going B20 last few days. Than I need to sell this kit asap if I'm going B20..

if you use a b18 box i think you can use the a20 clutch, but being where you are located all b20as are manual anyways i think

I'm going to be doing a B20 swap in my "86 Lx". It's a carb car and I'm not sure what all i'll need other than the harness and ECU. Can anyone help?

got a tiny ? ok so if i replace my clack top b20a tranny qith all the seals is it going to be the same as b20a5

Just got my tranny in and was looking around to see what was going on. Well all of carotmans exploded views will not open. I was going to see if any 5th gear would fit the F2k5. From what I have read I like all the gearing but 5th. Not knocking the trans cause I got it at a sweet deal but even the .771 of the 87 Si lude would be a little better.

i need a help here pls, can we install 2nd gen prelude jdm si b20a manual gearbox into jdm b20a accord ca3? because the ca3 is using automatic gearbox,wanna convert to manual,is it possible to use the lude gearbox? pls help me out =(
