Ok,

I replaced my timing belt last weekend, and adjusted my valves yesterday morning. When I took the plugs out (makes it easier to turn the engine over), my #3 plugs ceramic crumbled in my hand from around the electrode. I replaced the plug with an exact duplicate from advance, and now the thing runs like shite. It wont hardly idle at all and misses when under acceleration. I personally think its the plug wire for that cylinder, but just wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas for this issue.

I am going to replace that wire at lunch and will repost if there is any difference.

TIA,
Biggene

get the new wires and while you at autozone pickup some boot lubricator. it is electrical greese that prevents spark plug boot to stick to the plugs but most important it prevents any arks agains metals beside the wire and the plug.

Ok changed the wire out,,, no help

But while I was under the hood I noticed that I had left the vaccuum hose to the cruise control unit unhooked. :uh: . Hooked it back up and car runs like a champ. :slap:
