Looking to buy a high-flow cat, universal. I want to get the best cat, at the best price. I figure a universal one is gonna cost me a bit less, but how much more would a welder charge me to put flanges on? (since I have a bolt-on test pipe on there right now).

What do you guys think of these brands? Who's your favorite?

So far, I've got the Borla Pro XS muffler, and an 18" resonator; all T-304 and 2.25". I'm gonna get aluminized steel welded in for pipes since mandrel is hella expensive, and not really worth it, in my circumstance. (not boosting or anything).

Magnaflow CARB Compliant too =)
that is the one I got. I got charged like 10 bucks a flange, one to match both sides.

alright, i've decided to forget the cat... i'm just gonna order some T-409 SS (almost surgical i think). I'm just gonna measure and cut it myself, and then have a welding shop put it all together. We'll see how it comes out. I'll have pics later.

Those cats are CARB Legal just not OBDII Carb legal. We dont have to worry about that since we are OBD0. :) Hope that helps.
