please don't get these. These were brembo blanks and redrilled. Clearly it is. Just wanted to warn you fellow 3geez owners about it. It looks horrible too.

drill patterns are either radial (curvy) or diagonal (straight up ) and it looks like a diagonal drill rotor. Not sure of its credibility. But i seen buncha porches have them.

Dangerous!! That guy didn't even know what he was doing when he drilled them.
There is hardly any surface left on the rotors.
:sad2:

I `ve read or heard that it is better to have the holes casted in the rotors during the manufacturing process, and you won`t have to worry about the rotors failing, correct me if I`m wrong.

You are correct Kenny. Drilling after they are made will weaken the rotors, causing them to brake or crack.
Not safe at all.

I can't believe it .. hehe. I was going to buy those. I live in Houston and was planning to pick them up after I won since last weekend. But I was at work and got distracted and couldn't bid in time. Wow... saved me some heartache.

Does anyone here know about the piston on the caliper? The pdf manual I downloaded from paul design said to "depress the piston and pivot the caliper over the brake pads" . I don't know about that, I couldnt budge the piston and I ended up putting my old brake pads back on.

I use a 6" C-clamp to depress the piston. Works every time.

Heh, I drilled my own rotors once. Except I did it better than this. I know they arent safe, it was all for show, definately not a car that would go fast. It was on a stock chevette. Anyways, I had the rotors constantly soaking in oil as I drilled, kept the burn marks from happening, they looked good, though I probably wouldnt trust em. Oh well.
