Ok peoples.... i need to know if any of you have converted your 3gs to R134a from the R12? If so im trying to figure out if my 3g has had this done by its past owner or not. Right now my AC is not at all working and i dont wanna drop a ton into convert it or recharge it. IF any of you have done this convert can you tell me how to loook or show me pics?
Thanks!

search much? there was a big thread on this not more than a few days ago.

look at your AC lines. Unscrew the little plastic caps that cover the shrader valves. If the fitting is threaded, then it's still R-12. If the fitting is a quick-release style, then it's R-134a.

you might want to search around before asking very common questions like this.

www.aircondition.com is a good site to check out, too.

and, FYI -- fixing AC systems is NEVER cheap. Expect to spend a couple hundred bucks to do it right. Cutting corners and doing it cheaply will just ruin your AC system and end up costing you more money down the road.
