Yeah, we've known about those for a little while now. I don't think anyone has tried them yet though.

yeah its quite old. But they still did not say what deg to what deg. So it might have a lot of positive adjustment and no negative correction and that would suck. So hopefully we will know soon.

Those look really nice and sturdy. The only issue I had with the Ingall's kit was that it allow more play than the stock control arm mount and "banged" pretty hard when I shifted into reverse. Fortunately, when I replaced the upper control arm on that side the alignment was closer to 0" camber so I did not have to use it any more.

I think I have come over to the thinking that the Prelude arms, or a kit like this would be the way to go to maintain the original strength of the OEM arm.

these kinda upper control arms have been used for cars like the 300zx and silvias a long time back. its weird that we, honda guys, did not see much for our selection. but if this is close to anything like the ones i have seen earlier, no question its among the best investments. but i would like to see how OUR finished product will look like, since they have the general picture and not specific ones and i would like to see how ours will look like. As long as they can have a lot of positive correction (guys with too much negative camber like me) will be great for us. but the most i have seen corrects camber from -1 to +1.75 so its only like almost 3 deg of adjustment and no more. this one is rated for 4 deg so i would to see how much they actually have in their negative and positive like i stated in my first post.

I noticed http://rockauto.com/ has a similar part. Its a bit different because it uses a threaded rod and nuts (like a tie rod) to adjust the camber. My old LXI 4door is sagging a bit and these would bring camber back to normal. The price is less than half that of the subject control arm.

These are the AIM adj units. I'm going to have them installed Monday, along with my new suspension: revalved Bilsteins, Susp. Techniques 1"drop springs and .... every single OEM bushing on the damn car (about $300 just for the bushings, but I think it's worth it.)

About the Prelude arms. Is there a reason not to use the 88-91 generation arms? I measured the distance between the bolts on those and they seem to be the same as 3G. It appears they would be a bolt on swap. No need to combine parts. So why not go with those? Just curious since I found more 88-91 preludes on the local JY.

i ordered those arms about a month back and then returned them because i was kind of disappointed. the website showed a nice tubular design for their example picture and these are kind of hacked and welded together. i especially did not like how the ball joint was welded to the plate. the holes for the four bolts on each arm were drilled too close together to use all four bolts with the supplied washers. i guess you might be able to use smaller washers or just two bolts instead of four.

another thing i didn't like is that they were HEAVY. at least 3 or 4 pounds heavier than stock. i'd prefer not to add close to 10 pounds of unsprung weight, thank you very much.

about the only good thing about them is that they had a huge range of adjustment. they'd be good if you have a car that is seriously slammed (2.5" or more). i have the prelude arms now and i'm much happier with them. i'll probably just elongate the slots if i need to.
