B&G 1.6" front 66% rear 205%

Looking at getting these, since the drop isnt too low and its nice and tight in the rear (shut up, im talking about springs still:)).

My question is does anyone have these? Any comments? I dont wanna jump into suspension parts if they are crap, never dealt with any B G springs before.

Someone had them for a while and found that they lowered his car more like 2.5" if I remember right. While they're not a lot stiffer than stock, the H&Rs make an enormous difference when paired with good dampers without being too punishing. What is your goal (looks v. performance) and budget?

Performance, the car will still look like a beater on the outside so looks are not a concern. Why would they drop 2.5? I want something without too much drop. I'm only gonna be running steelie 14's with performance rubber.

I don't know why the drop didn't match the specs. Here's a few posts that I dug up if you're curious about them:

It could be that he just got a bad set and the set you end up with will produce the expected drop....or maybe they're all bad. Not enough members got them for me to know. What dampers will you pair to whichever springs you select? This will make a huge difference in how much performance you actually end up with after the changes. At some point you may want to consider lighter wheels which would improve your traction over uneven surfaces.

I plan to just keep light weigh steelies, nothing fancy. I want the car to still look like a junker, but be able to hang in a couple leagues higher than it was built.

EDIT: It will be a good set of dampers, hoping for koni reds, but I dunno if I can get ahold of any. Either way, suspension and under the hood will be well above its class.
