I remember reading about this in other threads, but that was over a year ago and I can't find them. maybe this stuff should be in the FAQ

I just installed H&R springs with Koni Red dampers on the front and Tokico Blues on the back. All the parts are brand new. The passenger side of the car is noticably higher than the driver's side, and it is more pronounced in the rear than in the front. Wierd thing is that on my other 3G with stock struts and springs the exact same problem is present.

There have been threads about this, I know, but I can't remember the explanation. Is it my frame? I'll try swapping strut assemblies from side to side on the rear to see if anything changes.

The threads you are referring to (about H&R), refer to the front being higher than the rear (not everyone had this problem). The driver's side should NOT be higher than the passenger side, or vice versa. I've never read a thread about the right side being higher than the left or vice versa.

I doubt if it's the frame, or you would have noticed other problems. I can't tell you what could have caused this w/o witnessing your installation. If all parts are new, as you say (ebay is NOT new BTW), then it shouldn't be the parts.

Did you install the konis using the same perch height? I don't know anything about the Tokicos, so I can't help there.

Hopefully, they will just settle and even out.

Peace.

he he. nothing from ebay here. the lopsidedness was present with the old springs as well, and I thought it was just because they were...well... old. but with two different sets of springs and struts, the driver's side is lower than the passenger side.
