I'll bet lowering the rear won't change the rear ends squirliness.

Yeah Dman, after I put my 18's on it looked really funny until I lowered it. IMO lowering is a must for 18's, or any nice wheels for that matter. Getting new wheels is kinda pointless without filling in that ugly wheel gap, this is just my opinion tho. :D

I dropped mine 1 1/2" on Neuspeed springs which nobody else seems to have. They haven't totally settled in yet, so it looks like it hasn't really been dropped, but i can see the difference. I have 15 inch wheels.

I'm droping my LX-i 2"s and I'm replacing my 205/45ZR16 tires and rims with 205/40R17 tires and rims, I'm gonna stick with the Milli Miglia Spyders, but I'm gonna get one size bigger.

I think maybe if I get the car to perform and look good enough, I'll buy an extra set of 18's just for show, I dunno, soo many things I could do!

If you can drift it properly the booty shaker steering syndrome isn't that bad... :P

I pulled a sweet clutch-kick drift around a 90-deg corner near my friend's house. This is where you jerk the steering wheel a little too far into the turn, kick the clutch while jerking it back to straight plus half the angle in the opposite direction, slide, then downshift toward the end of the curve to get more torque and pull you out of the slide. I did this at about 60, dropped to 40 mph in the crux of the turn. It was dope and I have stock suspension.

Drifting is fun but it tears the hell out of your tires even if you're pretty good at it.

Do you got pics? cus I'm debating on what size rims I should replace my 16x7's with, either 17x7's or 18x7.5's on a 2" Drop

FYI on 18's. They require 2 things 45mm offset and 215/35 tire size.

why the 215 Jim?? Wouldnt you want a thinner tire to keep it away from the finder lip??? I thought that was also why you went with 45mm??

Well they don't make a 205 in 18" or a 30 aspect ratio. I'm emphisizing(ms) what the guys that have 18's use to not have problems. I'm sure it is much more common to see 45mm offset's in 18", then it is to see it in the smaller rim sizes. Frankly the only place I've seen 45mm offsets (I never have looked for 18") has been on stock honda/acura factory alloys. Doesn't mean they aren't made, I've just never found them.

I want to drop my car atleast 2"s or more with 18x7.5" rims, Jim is telling me not to go with a 35mm offset, does anyone have pics of thier cars droped like that while running 18's? Cus I realy need to get an Idea of this so I know what to do.

I edited the above post to correctly reflect what I have been teling him and anyone else. I just got done Pm'ing one of the member's that is running 18's he has confirmed to me that you cannot run 18's with less than 45mm offset. And he's going to either send me pics or post them for us all:deal:

Thank you soo much TK, I realy wanted to see that, you did exactly what I want to do, sept you wen't with crome rims, I'm gonna run the Xenon Body kit, a Touring Wing, and the 18" 1000 Miglia Spyder's with a 2" drop, and I might buy a second pair of lightweight racing rims sometime in the future, but thanks for the picture of my dream! lol:D

Cut springs about 2.25" w/ 17" Motegi's but after I get my coils I'll probably just slam it to about 2.75". Thats like an inch or less between the bottom of my kit and the ground...LOW-RIDE-ER :D
