hello,

i'm from malaysia. sorry, my english bad.

my friend want to sell WEBER 28/36DCD (which was originally fitted to a race A Series engine in a mini). my engine is a18a with carburetor.

1. can this weber fit into my engine.

2. how about the setting.

3. can this weber work with A/C (malaysia is hot country).

i got the picture, but i dont no to upload.

If the base of the 28/36 carb is the same as a 32/36 DGV or 38/38 weber carb then you can use it. But you'll need to buy a 32/36 adapter plate.

AC will work with any carb.
The difference is that the stock carb has an extra vacuum idle diaphragm. When the A/C is turned on the diaphragm will raise the idle to make up for the extra engine load.

Your weber most likely doesn't have this so you may nottice your idle drop when you use AC. It's not bad.

Neat little carb, it offers more tuning options then a 32/36 DGV :)

Interesting, its using a plunger for an accel pump and a choke valve instead of a plate. Thats a similiar setup to the dcoe. Its better for performance but worse for the cold, good thing you live someplace warm.
