Well, it happened, again. Heard my alarm go off about 5:30am EST. Glad I had that thing on my car. At any rate, they didn't get anything, as far as I can tell. They broke the little side window and reached in to pop the door lock. Typical for a 3rd gen. Last time they broke out the whole front door glass; least these thieves were nice.

Pisser, huh? :fight:

man you should start parking under the street light or something like that. thives won't mess with a car that has light shinning on it.

Well, thing is, it DOES have a street light shining on it from 12ft. away, and it's in plain view of my windows and front door and 4 others apartments. I was watching it for like 5 minutes from my 3rd floor front door before me and my 3ft. steel prybar went down to look at it, then I circled all the cars from 10 ft. away from anything that could hide a human.

wish me :flame: to them :burn:

Well what happened, did you run out there and they ran away or what? Also that sucks, I know how you feel, I've had 5 attempts on my Accord and all 5 times they broke out a window, not fun.

I don't ever think you'll ever live down the frying pan thing..

You can break a tinted window it just takes more effort and it is much louder.

I'm pretty sure anyway... :D

Nah, they didn't get my frying pan. Loose that thing, and I'd lose all my horsepower advantage :D

I don't think it was me scaring them off. I think it was the alarm all the sudden going on, then it stopped, reset, and the panic side of it went off. Judging, I think it was the movement sensor that went off, not the door opening portion. I'm taking care of that small error today.
