I make "quick" home-made Air Intake (i can't say it Cold Air Intake), it's rubber tube about 10 cm (~3") long and Cone Air Filter from Honda S2000. Later i planned to make a long steel tube, it will be working more better.

After measuring power with APEXi REV/SPEED Meter i got 133hp, with stock air - 125hp. Yes, i know power is more, that must be by tech specs, it can change, because of weather, tire resistance, temprature engine oil etc.

P.S. My 3 top 0-100 times is changes, i easly got 08"81, 08"82, but my record 08"80 i can't beat, because i haven't time for racing :-) tryouts...

Later i do it and you will see it on my banner.

thats a real nice gain, do you have anything else done to the motor or exhaust? i definatly felt alittle more throtle response when i put my intake on.

Paul -

If you install a real cold-air intake, beware of hydro-lock! If you drive into a deep enough puddle of water, the cold air will pull it right up into the engine. That's a quick way to kill a car.

You can buy valves to prevent this though, look for air bypass valves.
