hey guys, i like the white faced gauges on ebay, but i dont really care that they glow blue or green, would it be possible to just get the white face gauges, and just use the regular/normal lights that light up the stock gauges with the new gauges with no problems?

my gauges say denso on them though, paul's were made for nippon....does it make a difference if the gauge is denso or nippon?

this is what it says

The gauge faces were designed based on the original Honda gauges. These gauges are/were manufactured by Nippon Seiki and Denso. At the bottom edge on the speedometer you can see the Nippon Seiki trademark as is shown in the picture at the right. I developed the gauges on the basis of these devices from Nippon Seiki and I can guarantee accuracy of indications of the speedometer and the tachometer (primarily for Nippon Seiki speedometer, however accuracy on Denso equipment is not proven) (f/t gauges are corrected in view of real indications). If the devices in your Accord are made by Denso, the readings of the speedometer and tachometer gauges may be accurate however no guarantee is established on that behalf.

You can just install them and not plug them in. Our factory dash lights are sufficent to see the guages.
But why not hook them up and use the reverse glow feature? I absolutly love mine. They are bright as hell, and they look great during daytime also.
