Alpine amp controller help

I bought an Alpine KCE-510M amp interface and I can't get the headunit to see it.

Amp is MRD-1000 monoblock (V-12 series) http://www.motorspeed.org/product_pix/amps_small/MRD_M1000.jpg

nothing happens wtf
