squeaky noise

hey i got an 89 honda accord lxi coupe 2 dr and there is a squeaky noise when i am driving over rough road, or going over bumps and sometimes just while driving on nice surfaces. The noise is coming from the left front side and can be heard inside while driving. It seems to come and go ocassioanlly but recently it has stayed. could these be a strut problem cuz i also have tire wear on the inner part of the tire, and the steering wheel does shake sometimes while braking.....all help is appreciated.

i had the same problem and found if you pull the ball joint boot back and spray sum lube in them it might help found the the ball joints get dry spots in them sumtimes its not 100% correct but worth a try!

The noise could be so many things. Start by thoroughly inspecting all the bushings, joints, and suspension fasteners. Greasing the antiroll bar bushings wouldn't hurt either. The noise could be caused by a bad shock, but there no way to know with the information that you've provided.

Bumps shouldn't immediately throw off your alignment. What goes off: toe camber, caster, everything? I'd suspect either the alignment or warped disks for the shaking.

Well i took it into a shop today and they needle injected some lube into the upper ball joint and greased up the control arm and ball joint buschings as well. It made a great improvement but there is still some squeak...one of the buschings is lose/worn so ill need to eventually replace it....anyone know this cost?
