:pc: So I bought an 87 dx hatchie and the engine isnt stock, its something different like a japanese A18? I'm also thinking its a 2gee prelude engine. But it is only single carb though! It has round ports for the intake manifold. I can't see an engine code anywhere. Any ideas? Also the carb is too high and the previous owner cut out the hood reinforements. wtf? To me, it looks like an a2a1 but the valve cover is like a prelude.

No, not on the old ET1/2 lude engines. They are on the back of the engine on those..
